Beastmaster Leveling guide (by Crimsonwolf)

This guide is like most you see on other sites, but to my exp its always best to go to an area a level after the guide tells you to, this way more mobs rate Even match so you donít have to go running around for your next pet. Also pre 35 you will have to time the fights so your pet dies before your target does to get full exp from the kill, but I mostly found even if my pet didnít die before the end of the fight I could attack another monster without trying to find another pet, allowing me to kill faster and level quicker. Another thing that some people donít look at is outside help like power levelers, pre 35 a PL can help you get past those times when you get stuck or if you need that little buff before trying a new area and donít want to get deleveled by those ever so hateful mischarms. There are always more areas where a beastmaster can level that wont be listed.
Plus I stopped the guide at 65-66 due to I havenít lvled past that and donít wanna put anything I havenít tried myself.

At these levels, it is more efficient to solo as a melee class, and experiment with Charm. But for the most part you should be able to go 1-10 just like any other job!

Recommend at least one piece of AF gear to assist in charming, and a Light Staff is a must, as slimes are resistant to charm. Room only for two BSTs or a BST and a party.

The bees will kill any bird there and rarely ever use final sting mid fight .The birds don't aggro, link, or have AoE, so it's just an all around good camp. It's right outside the Al Zahbi exit. Watch out for the birds TP moves which can put your tp to 0

63 - use saplings and leeches to fight leeches and birds
64 - use saplings, leeches and birds to fight birds
65 - use leeches and birds to fight birds and imps (in the graveyard)


There's no chigoe in this area (at least not near zone), so there's no aggro unless you go into the graveyard. One thing that is very important if you exp in the new imperial control areas, it is to spend 100 IS points to get sanction with refresh. The refresh only regen up to 65% MP but it stacks with gaudy harness

Wajaom Woodlands E-9
Pet: Treant Sapling (will spawn as EM-T here, convert the 2 saplings between the 2 areas to EM, pull with one, finish prey with the other)
Prey: Wajaom Tiger (will be 1 or 2 levels above you @66)

The corridor between the north/south areas is a safe spot, free from aggro. I used one sapling to pull, heeled pet when tiger was at about 70% HP, swapped to the other EM sapling at camp.
Wajaom Tigers don't link. ^^

As seen above i got a bst party together and killed elder Goobbues

Lv 68-69
Bhaflau Thickets
Pet: Red Kisser / tigers
Prey: Colibri

Its a great place to solo or duo most of the Colibri checked T-VT to me at 68, and the leeches(red kisser) were EM-T, but even charming a T to fight a VT didnt hurt my exp at all. Course be ready to die once or twice as a mscharm on a leech here means 2 or 3 on you at once, so CHR gear is a must.
